we had two wedding cakes... one 'normal' and one kransekake (it's norwegian... i'm half norwegian). Thought I'd post the pic of the more interesting one:

couldn't find the original, so there's some icky jpeg artifacting in there.

show me a picture of a bad haircut!

Default Bad hair cut?

Will this do? Wild hair?!

An old friend

I'd like to see a photo of something nostalgic that holds a warm place in your heart.

This is the old garage in Ludlow CA. It sits about 50 feet off the infamous Route 66. I spent many hours in that garage with my father repairing cars. That was many years ago as we moved away in 1972. It's not an artsie pic, but it is nostalgic to me.

I visited a couple of weeks ago and got these shots.

This is the old air compressor he used to inflate tires and to power his air wrench. I can still hear it kicking on and off.

Definitely nostalgic, PnwGuy. Nice that you could still get pictures of it.

Now what shot would you like to see next?

Default Cactus - added sunset ;)

I guess I'll have to cheat alittle, just to keep the game going. These are my own work, but the cactus picture was taken in Arizona in January and the sunset was taken in Washington State. I had to photshop, and it's not my best work, especially the tree. It stuck up above the mountain line, so I had to mess with it. It's kind of like fixing hair, I saw a tutorial on that once, mmm guess I should practice.
cactus

Moving along ... show me something LOUD.
