I like this shot, although I couldn't really tell you why. It just seems familiar, because I've spent untold hours leaning on the side of a truck or trailer and chatting while the sun goes down. But it got no response on Flickr when I posted it awhile back, and every "non-photography" person I've shown it to thought I took it on accident...

Sunset reflected on toolbox

I'd like to see a fish.

Jimminy, I cannot believe this! First I ment people's food. And after I already submitted the post I wanted to edit it asking for frog food... But I gave up thinking that maybe someone is already preparing the next photo.

It's a bit spooky... I know you for such a short time, and you are already reading my mind...

So, I got both; a nice hairy fly and a delicious salad!

...Hmmmm, and look at that FISH over there..

Allisa, I kinda like it. I may have cropped out the dome light to see how it looked. I also wonder how it would have looked with a fisheye lens?

OK, I think we're looking for a dish now, aren't we?

quick pic-posting rundown:

- click the 'all sizes' button above your pic.
- click on either 'small' or 'medium,' depending on how big you want to post the pic (don't post anything more than 600 px on one side)
- click in the box of html under 'to link to this photo' (it should select all the text for you)
- copy it. paste it here. hit 'preview post' to make sure it displays correctly.

hope that does it for you!

Ohhh, and here I was with pictures of a couple foxes I've encountered on two different occasions out in the wild thinking to myself that I'd never get the opportunity to share and someone beats me to it with pictures of boxes.

As to the current subject, I've never entered a photo in a contest so I defer.
