Default Midget moose

I duplicated the original, isolated the moose, distorted and transformed a la fashion mag (selected the legs and transformed, selected the head and transformed, selected the legs again and distorted, pulled it into liquefy filter for some squidges here and there. Added a warming filter to just the moose. Clone stamped the background clean. Total time was about 30 minutes.

Default The Headless Mooseman

Headless Mooseman Pumpkin

In honor of the upcoming Holiday, (my favorite).
For this image I used GIMP. First, I selected the moose from the back legs forward. I then copied and pasted them onto a new "Blank" image at the same size as the original. Then I rotated the form until I was satisfied with the angle. Next I went back to the original and selected the hind legs. I copied these onto the new image and moved the layer into position. I then selected the forlegs from the knees down and rotated them into position. Once I was satisfied with the rearing moose, I blacked the image by adjusting the contrast. Once the image was black, I painted in the horseman in black (freehand). I then selected the black with the "Magic wand" selection tool. Then bucket fill with yellow. I then changed the white background to transparent using the color to alpha tool. Next, I went online to find a nice pumpkin picture to paste my image onto. Once the image was pasted, I used the same color of yellow to hand paint the lettering. This was alot of fun.
