Considering the 6 hour time difference (and I wish I could've stayed up and watched the game), I'll take some liberty here and call it "same day".

I was standing in freezing fog trying (and failing) to get a landscape shot from a new vantage point I found.

If anyone who was at the Superbowl happens to pick up on this thread, please feel free to interject and show us what it was like to be there.

WWYW you were last warm (and please, show us a photo!) Come on, you Australians, we know it's Summer down under!

Last one here posted in Feb...... But I thought it was a neat thread. I went back to the next one that I could post about. So here goes.....

WWYW you took your longest exposure? (and post that one!)

In my darkened garage trying to write my grandaughter's name with a flashlight....

JDPel, what's the next question? This thread seems interesting, so let's get it going again.

Default Yep. This sounds intersting.

Charlie:
I believe the question is "Where were you when you took your longest exposure?" If that's the case, I submit this:

Christmas Lights

15 seconds was as long as my Canon point and shoot would do. I've taken longer exposures with my D5000, but nothing worth printing.

The Christmas lights was a project I did last year. I went out and took pictures of houses that caught my eye, and then anonymously delivered 8 x 10's the next day to the houses, sort of as a "Thank You" for making my Christmas a little brighter. A random act, as it were.

Okay, so I went back and reviewed the concept. Where were you when you last said, "Whoa. I've got to back up and get a shot of that!"

OK, maybe I'm shallow, but this is the first thing I thought of... I was walking out to my car, after a long day of shooting at the Mustang Week Meet-n-Greet in Myrtle Beach. Then, I heard the unmistakable rumble of the side pipes and saw this rolling into the parking lot. As first, I thought it was the real deal -- a 1967-68 AC Cobra in British Racing Green. WOW! My dream car... right in front of me!?!

Factory Five Cobra replica - side
Actually, this is a Factory Five Cobra Replica.

WWYW you captured the first photograph you thought could be published in a magazine?
