Just playing around..

Dewrinkled all subjects a bit (heal tool).

Thinned center subject (liquefy tool)(added shadow layer - badly).

Added a little noise in the highlights in lab mode (select color - highlights - lab mode - add noise)

Evened out light a little bit (played with levels after selecting color range - midtones - highlights - shadows)

Made sail in background have more texture (ugly job though) by making new layer, and doing multiple gradients

First: just to get the shadow off her face



Then, trying for the currently fashionable (in the UK at least) white background and slightly overexposed look

Two tries are perfectly fine Though if you have any explanation of how you accomplished your effects that would be even better

Well, the first pone is just cloneing, dodging and burning backwards and forwards til it looks right.

The second took the first, cut out the background, lightened the foreground and pasted to a whit layer.
