I was going to post a close-cropped picture of my donkey's nostril, but when I reviewed it, it looked just too obscene. And I don't want to develop that type of reputation so soon. (Maybe later)

I think it looks like the glaze on some form of pottery... maybe a wide bowl?

Bingo! It's a bowl from Spain. I can post a whole picture of it if wanted, its actually a neat looking bowl.

I made it b&w as in color it looked a little fuzzy, that part at the bottom thats not quite in focus due to the curvature really stood out when colored.
