Yay! The color seemed copper like, so I looked at a penny...must have been from a different year...there was no "little guy" there...but guessed it anyway

I had to pull out one of my own to look, and the first one I pulled out of the jar was a 1945 wheat back

But I looked on a few others, and sure enough, the little guy is there - nearly worn off on a few, difficult to see on all but the brightest of pennies, but he's there.

So, this is not a busy area of the Section. Maybe the challenge isn't difficult enough. This Macro of an everyday product has a little post work on it, basic shape is the same. Probably the same on any Continent:
