Close enough! It's my racing canoe paddle made out of carbon fiber. I wanted to get more carbon fiber into the picture, but it made the picture way to dark.

The first picture is completely unrelated from the second picture. However it was in the house.

As for DRT205's submission, looks like a animal burrow of some kind?

WooooHoooo!!!!! I'm the first winner!!!! But I don't like to brag.

So Demo24, You one of those persons that goes down a river trying to avoid smashing your face into a boulder. You got more guts than I got! I'm one of those that likes to float down a creek in an innertube. Where the worse thing that can happen is your tube holding the beer gets tipped over.

Nope, I did flat water racing. Very skinny canoes(think 1ft in width) on a lake, paddling pretty hard.

That's good! So we can expect to see you here at DPS for a long time than.
By the way, try the "Get drunk while you float down a creek in an innertube" thing. You don't have to work so hard. The current will take you where you want to go. Take care!

Good guesses...but it is the ear of a lion. My camera is a Rebel XT and I can't believe how detailed the photo is due to the megapixals. Even with cropping, I got vivid details of the hair in the ear.
