Thumbs up You guessed it

You could be right. This is the same place where I took the pic of the baby goose last year. This could be the same goose all grown up.

Default I'll take a guess.

Is it a shot looking inside the ear of a tiny creature, like a hamster or gerbil?

Default guess

I guessed a fuzzy animal ear, like a gerbil or hamster. This is my second try, but I'm new to this website and I don't think the first reply was in the right place. Sorry, if it comes up twice.

sunnyside, Welcome

Have a look at post #101: see the rectangle on the duck's butt? That was the answer (pretty tough!) and we probably need to find a way to make that clearer. Do you have a macro photo you think will be hard to guess?

Hi, I thought I might have a go!
This is a crop - hence the poor quality!

It is the false "eye" of a hawkmoth Caterpillar - caught him munching my precious fuchsias on Sunday!

Hi Nicole,
They are amazing creatures! I have also seen them called Elephant caterpillars - not only for their majestic size - this is compared to my left index finger...an' I aint a li'l girl!

but also when they are unstressed they extend the front segments on the head in a very pachyderm-like manner - like so...(this is a younger cousin captured a few weeks ago)
