the beauty of these threads....just have fun with it! I have been sick and dealing with that along with traveling a bit and working my tail off. I swear my tail is gone!!!
It was fun to play around with this again....

Default my first wwyd

wwyd-peeperita's
I have been learning so much from DPS, and this thread has really been encouraging me to learn more and do more with my photo program. Which mine is PhotoImpact so a lot of these instructions do not help me much. Anyway I just went thru a lot of the steps that I have never even looked at so that I could see what they do, this is what I ended up with and I stopped here for a while.
I rotated the picture just because I had not done it in this program yet.
In photo effects I went into sharpen and unsharpened it, in enhance I used Sunlight #5, and in lensfilter I used Starlight filter #5.
In special effects I went to distort and applied the whirlpool effect.
Then I cropped just a little off the bottom. Oh, and I had fun with it all. I went thru a ton of other things too, but I just kept backing up and playing with others as I went. Thanks I really enjoyed this. And I have been working on some of my pictures as well, who knew I could do so much!

Thanks teewinot, I am really enjoying learning all of this. this particular thread has pushed me to learn more with my postprocessing and I am having so much fun with a lot of my older pictures. I even took a picture that belonged to a girl I work with, put it in my photoimpact and played till I got rid of all of the extra's in the background, she won't even know that shot when I show it to her in the DVD I made for her. Now I must go play... I mean learn.

I think that blue works well, Rothko-esque.
