Here you go, not sure if I did it correct in Gimp, but used desaturate?

Yes, much better...Now try adding a tad more contrast to it..

Yes, I think it will add a little mystery to it...By the way, I like the image allot which is why I am making suggestions that may or may not work.

I went to a photography course here in Singapore and the guy (Willy Foo), said it was best to get permission, or gain eye contact and if you intended to publish it, then you would definately need permission...so be good to get a number or email, but this particular picture I just got eye contact and then asked the old guy if it was ok.

Default Family transport in Cambodia...

I took this in Cambodia and this was normal for family transport, with upto 5 people on one bike!
