I played about with this so much, I think I have forgotten what I did!!!!

new333
Cropped out figure on the left
Distort with "fisheye" from mathmap.
Then added sparkle from Gimp filters.
Then added the fairy in the centre, cleaning up the backgrouind with the eraser.

I think.......

I couldn't decide which way I liked it better, so you get to see both! Which do you like better?

Both of these were effectively done the same way, but with different endings.

Adjusted levels, (for the second one, I cropped), added a fractal trace filter, (for the second one I then applied a polar coordinates filter with a 50 % circle depth), cropped, flattened save.

Used some actions I tend to use on some photographs. Day to night and nightvision. Applied some layers and typography. :P

Just a quick one

bubblesdpsjpg

Copied the "pesky" animal, brightened it a bit, with levels. Copied with foreground select, and pasted into the "bubbles picture" Cleaned up with ther eraser, and positioned him.
(incidentally this now famous animal, I think is a ground hog, not a squirrel!!!!)

Copied the picture into another layer, desaturated the bottom layer and erased all but the bubbles on the top layer. Used a little embossing, inner shadow, and brightness/contrast to make the bubbles pop. Used the "Photo to Drawing" technique found at Photo to Drawing | Planet Photoshop. (Found in an old post by Riversider) Played around with blending and lightening the masked image until I had the effect I wanted.

okay, so I did this like on wednesday, but didnt get to post it until now...silly school for deciding to start back up again >.<

anyway, that being said, I kind of forgot what I did...
I know I changed the levels...duplicated quite a bit and changing some layer settings...For the bubbles I made a new layer colored over them and to get the colors and put the layer setting on Color..I think I duplicated that layer and put that on possibly overlay? haha, failed memory...But yea, lots of playing around randomly with photoshop..as always. >.<
