Default I went for soft, not creepy

DPS project b

Used Orton effect and Vignette to highlight the middle, soften to blur the edges even more, and boost to increase the color.

WOW...I've been away from DPS for the past few days and didn't realize my photo was this weeks WWYD! There are a lot of good ideas and they've given me some inspiration...now I'll have to play with my photo and see if I can come up with.

I liked the ice and snow effect that ydnew44 and FromtheBackofaHorse added to the photo. NZMXr's addition of the squirrel made me laugh and my Granddaughter really liked the candy house done by naeno. Zim thanks for the details on how you achieved the look in the photo. I think in the original photo, the house kind of blended in with the trees but you did a great job in making it stand out.

Thanks everyone for playing and for some really good ideas!

Added witch (not sure from where?)
then added vampire bat, gravestones and ghost (from free photots"halloween")
Added supernova from filters (Gimp)

Here is my contribution. I decided to try doing a sepia tone using the split tone feature in Lightroom 2.

what would you do_house-1

adjusted exposure (+.10)
adjusted black levels (+2)
recovery (18)
contrast(+32)
clarity(-46)
Tone curve (highlights+30/ lights+38/ darks+9/ shadows+1)
Grayscale adjustments
split tone
Sharpened
camera calibration
vignette added
