Default What Would You Do? 107

This weeks challenge, includes one of my own. (Hint, I need some more images from you guys) This is from Bishops Castle and the dragon really does breathe flames!
Rules are simple, edit the image anyway that you see fit. Remember, to post the steps you took to acheive your final product. This challenge is as much about learning as it is about sharing with others so that they may learn.

Now, let's see what you would do!

If you would like your image to be posted please send me a medium sized photo (html code would be a plus) and a link to a larger version

Can you name the movie?

Duplicated layer, colorized new layer to purple and masked out non-dragon portions, merged layers, duplicated layer, drew in purple hair (including black outlines to give it some definition), cloned out unnecessary bridge and such in the background, selected potion of the roof for wing, created new layer and pasted the wings on, duplicated layer and put in other set of wings, masked out unwanted portion of new wing layer, used paintbrush on exterior of wings to give them definition, added fire as new layer, elongated the canvas and added text. Flattened.

This has me blocked so I just played around till I came up with this monstrosity. www
cropped, used the warp tool at different sizes to move parts around. Silver Efex pro, added noise, added a texture layer and used some brushes to add in swirls

Default The House of "You-Know-Who" ?

Basically what happens when I photoshop while listening to John Williams' wonderful Harry Potter scores. haha.

I forgot to write down my steps as I made this..oh well
what I recall doing is 1. copied the head of the dragon, fliped it, and used a mask so i could make it have two heads. 2. used purple in one layer, and two more black layers and various layer options to make the sky that color. (when i say the colors i used, i mean i took a brush and went over just the sky and added the different layer options) 3. new layer, red for the eyes on the "color" option I believe. 4. I took a photo of a candle that I had and used the selection tool to take the fire , copy and move the fire around to put in the mouths of the dragons. blending options were used to make the glow of the fire more..glowy? haha. probably not a word..anyway. 5. I was listening to the soundtrack for the 3rd harry potter and decided to find a photo of the death eater symbol from harry potter and put it into the picture. So I took the photo, made a new layer and went over the basic outline with the pen tool and simulated pressure. 6. Changed around the blending options for the symbol to make it kind of glow and pop out. and then dragged it into the picture under the dragon head. 7. On one of the layers I did Render > Lighting effects> spotlight to give a better lighting on the house place thing....Oh yea! I cropped it at one point too...

and yea. that's pretty much it.
