When first seeing the photo, my mind thought "let's change the season/weather!" so I did. haha
![]() 1) Duplicate layer so I don't mess up the original. 2) Duplicate layer again and lower saturation and lightness levels. Set layer on "color" 3) Cropped a little. 4) Duplicate top layer, used masking for the sky ish area and changed hue and lower saturation some more. at about 74% opacity 5) New layer. added some white on the ground and beveled the layer. soft light for the layer setting 6) New layer again, added blotches of white, same bevel and soft light for layer setting. 7) New layer again. added the dots and stars and what not for snow flakes and added a slight chisel bevel. 8) Enlarge canvas size and make the background layer a dark grey. Flatten and you're all done!

This is sooo not what I had in mind but it's what I ended up with. Everything is done on a seperate layer
Added Flaming Pear Super Blade Pro until I got the purple effect. Added Orton Effect. Pasted planet in as a new layer, changed hue until it became purple. opacity to taste. Added dragon in as a new layer. added diffuse glow. lowered opacity and erased areas I didnt want to show. Used several diffiferent opacity levels. added several borders. Used pick tool to trace around them. used the clone tool to make the frame, used several pick points fro the image. Last used inner bevel to add some depth to the frame. Really I used the image as a texture and background. You can still see the trees in the back of the dragon ![]() LOL, i originaly wanted it to be a black and white with a fairy next to the tree

![]() I used a 2008 fall photo of my wife & grandson (taken at the KY Horse Park, a great place to spend the afternoon). 1st layer I used the quick select tool to outline wife & grandson, then cut & pasted in original photo. 2nd layer was for air plane. The 3rd layer I applied a gradient clipping mask to blend the aircraft. Then did a group with previous. Finely I adjusted the Lighting, Shadow 10% lighter, Highlights 10% darker to original photo only. Larry
