Can you believe that it's already been another week?
This week's picture is from Waffles. ![]() Available Large So, go ahead and edit it, and come back, show it to us, and tell us what you did. It's all about learning, and possibly learning something new. ![]() Now, once again, I'm running out of pictures to use here! I have 2 from people who were kind enough to send me links to 2 pictures (thanks), but once those are used, we're out of pictures ... that is, unless people who want their pictures to be edited in one of these threads drop me a PM with a link to the medium and large size of the picture ![]() Now, let's see what you would do!

![]() First I duplicated the layer, then I used a layer mask to erase everything but the center player. I then desaturated, and brightened the original image, and duplicated it. I applied a zoom blur to the top desaturated layer, with the center of the blur on the center player. Next I set the layer's transparency to about 60%. Lastly I adjusted the white balance of the topmost layer to remove the yellow hue and then cropped the image down to bring even more of a focus on the center player. |

![]() Geez, the others look awsome compared to this on. All i did was turn it into a negative and crop it.

![]() GOAL: Make it look like it's a shot in a newspaper (an old one at that...). What I did (in Paint Shop Pro Photo XI): -Cropped down to remove audience -Straightened so net would be horizontal -Adjusted histogram midtones to increase contrast (twice) -Unsharp mask (radius 75, strength 30) -Aged newspaper filter to adjust color -Curves adjustment to brighten -Added borders -Added text -Erased various parts of text with low opacity
