i approached this as a repair project.....

duplicated background and sharpened with highpass.....set this to soft light......repeat...added a light norton effect to soften her skin and brighten the image....added a soft, light cyan to her skin to tone down some of the pink.....(i might have over thought this step).....increased canvas size to bring her to a more pleasing place in the frame......painted in extra canvas with pink and blending with layers of varying shades of this pink until it blended in......erased all the pink that bled into her hair.....ever so slight white blended in over her teeth.....added a medium gray vignette and blended it with soft light.....that made her smock come back greener and the background more believable.....

Again more great responses !! Love the one with the red eyes, by the end of my dealing with her that is how I felt for sure

That last one from Stacy scared me.

Just got PS CS loaded again after having to buy a new laptop due to a robbery. Been wanting to try my hand at this one. Thought I'd go with a "Queen for the Day" approach!

Steps:
After finding an appropriate royal image.....
- cropped out the face using the polygonal lasso tool
- pasted as a new layer onto royal background
- flipped horizontal to match background light source a little better
- lightened the face up a bit
- used the selective color tool to match skin tone
(Reds: cyan -7 Magenta -46 Yellow +9)
- used the clone tool at 42% opacity / 50% flow on forehead / neck to blend skin tones
- used the blur tool at 50% strength on a few edges as needed

Disappointed in my results. With my software I could only go so far. Just fixed a few wrinkles with clone paint, whitened teeth and put a spotlight effect to even out the light.
