Lots of fun, this called for a little more cloning to get glare filled in. Wings, body, antennae and eye were given separate layers. Each was adjusted to more accurately depict simple lighting. Parts were copied/flipped/pasted into a whole moth seen from the bottom. After copying and arranging four moths and some partial groupings, a gradient background and frame completed a design.

Placing one of the adjusted moths over a gradient background, adding lines and frames, then a Lighting Effect gives you this:

Wow, that looks good Jim Glad to see you back in these threads, you took a week or two off, didn't you? Or I was just really busy and didn't notice.

Nicole, Thank you and Thank you

Inspiration is fickle sometimes, pain is a depressant, and all too often other things eat up time like it was a free lunch. Otherwise it's just a rotation of interests. It's good to see your progress in this area, too. Challenging, hunh?!

Teewinot,

Thanks for the challenge. I couldn't go beyond what had already been posted, so surgery was in order. A little radical, but that's what came to me.
