this is my first attempt at a wwyd so i hope i have posted the picture ok?

used photoshop elements

1)saturation -86 on adjustment layer
2)remove eyes from step 1 with brush tool
3)saved as another file
4)combined the two layers
5)select her right eye and adjustment layer hue -72 & saturation +20
6)select other eye adjustment layer hue -60 &saturation +20
7)combines layers
8)moved to quick edit and sharpened image
9)back to full and removed her left eye
10) copied the other eye made it smaller and moved it into place
11) cloned the white area to cover the space left
12)changed the hue of the new eye
13) blurred around the eye both between the eye lids and the colour bit
14) burnt around the eye lids
14)burnt in the background

i call it my dirty little girl.....

May 25, 2009

duplicated the background and applied a black and white filter with the color sliders randomly popped around......it kinda reminded me of playing air hockey....this made our girl look very, very dirty.....i erased some of this layer over her irises so they would go blue again......applied an orange color on a seperate layer to the entire image.....erasing again over her eyes and set to soft light.....blacked out the background with a large soft black brush.......decided to shed some light on her face with a layer of another large soft brush of pale pink....again set to soft light.........

Default What Would You Do? Challenge 102

Mom lets go
DPS challange102

Working with two photos became a challenge for me. I’m embarrassed to say how long I have worked on this project. (Several hours) I had to use the manual and re-do several times. I use PS Elements 7. I started with layers for the finger nails; I used the smart brush tool then Portrait/Lipstick for the lips. For the eyes I used layers but I didn’t like the color, too much blue or green so I left the eyes alone. I flipped the photo then cut and paste into the truck window. This was a learning tool for me.
