Can you believe it? 100 What Would You Do Callenges!!!! WAHOOO

For this weeks challenge, we have an image that I think you all will have a lot of fun with.
Edit the image anyway that you see fit. Remember, to post the steps you took to acheive your final product. This challenge is as much about learning as it is about sharing with others so that they may learn.

Now, let's see what you would do!

If you would like your image to be posted please send me a medium sized photo (html code would be a plus) and a link to a larger version

Thank you SusanH1970 for sending me your image!

Got the picture straight from Susan's Flickr Photostream.

NOT MY PHOTO

Cropped photo, reduced the red, did a curve adjustment, took into Topaz adjust and played with settings to bring out features (tried to copy "the rider" - not as successful, but I tried) converted to B/W, and sepia tint at 5%, burned the hair and dodged the beard. I may play again, you are right - this one is fun!

Default Wwyd #100

---------------------

- Extracted (separated) the subject from the background.
- Desaturated.
- Made a dramatic threshold.
- Applied Gaussian Blur.
- Turned everything into grayscale.
- "Bitmapped" @ 300 pixels.
- Applied halftone screen (Frequency: 14, Angle: 45, Shape: Round) on the bitmap to obtain the dots.
- Changed everything unto grayscale again, then back to RGB.
- Duplicated the first layer, created Clipping Paths between layers.
- Filled (Paint Bucket) the different layers according to the colors i wanted.
- Added the Gradient background and the line (Without it, the background seemed boring)
- Added the comic-style thought bubble and alight white frame

- And voila!!!

What a great face. Now this type of stuff is what I live for! Here we go
mirror image and crop down - Duplicate - adjust levels-merge - duplicate- super over sharpen orginal image and then areas the eyes on the duplicate - merge - duplicate - do a lot of bruning on midtones and dodge on highlights - oversharpen to taste, invert image to negative, gaussian blur to 45 and set blend mode to overlay - merge all - duplicate- destaurate - cloned shiny parts with clone set to darken and 45% - more dodge and burn - new raster layer and flood fill with black. Erase areas to show face - merge - duplicate- carefully dodge the whites of the eyes and add vingette for smoother edges- merge

Default Sin city effect

--------------------

- Adjusted the levels
- Played a bit with the Hue/Saturation.
- Converted to BW (Chanel Mixer)
- Dealt with the background by darkening (trying to obtain a night impression) wth the burn tool.
- Created a new layer for the rain effect (This effect never seemed right - took me the whole time).
- Added some clouds (Under Filter- render- clouds).
- Burned the face (Burn tool) to obtain the dragan effect like
- Added some more white hairs.
- Brushed in some splashes (different colors).
- Used the type toll (downloaded the Sin City fonts - free) and added some shadows to the letters and added the frame.

- Und fertig!!!
