I'm wiping tears away, laughing hysterically over some of these! You guys never cease to amaze me!!!! The talent here is phenomenal. Now I'm going to have to re-edit it...the one I put in SYS is so BORING compared to these!!!

What I did:

- crop
- duplicate layer, selected eyes, adjust contrast, flatten image
- b/w adjustment
- new black fill layer, then with a big soft brush painted the areas were to show the layer, flatten
- duplicate layer, high pass filter, set mode to overlay and flatten image

Just a quick one. I started out with a different idea, but got lost...so just this. I'll try the other one when I have a bit more time.

dps

Cropped, then blurred out the background a bit. Filters:auto B&W, Then played with levels ,until I liked it. Added a small supernova, for light from (I think) the right direction.

One for the Dogma fans....

Simply made each image a layer and erased round the original face to reveal the one beneath.

4 susan

Cropped, burned edges (just the highlights), converted to b/w, painted some white in beard, added noise, added a sepia tint.

I was gonna do something fun, but got carried away...

Default To be "Dave Hill effect"

--------------------

Was going for the Dave Hill's Style or effect. But,....i think i still have a long way to go. LOL!!!!

Anyway, this is what i did in Lightroom 2:

- Clarity 86
- Dark tones -10
- Highlight Tones -31
- Shadow Tones +10
- Vignette Midpoint +100
- Blue Chromatic Abberation +5
- Color Noise Reduction -100
- Added presets from Dojo Essentials 1.2 called Bam 2.0
- Corrected some skin tone
- Added some dark vignettes

In Photoshop,

- Added a Dragan effect
- Some contrasts and vibrancy.

I have been fighting with this Dave Hill thingy for some time now. I came to the conclusion that the final effect depends on the strobe positions and lights in the beginning.
