I wanted to take 40 years off of him...a bad plastic surgery job!
![]() Some creative cloning, burning, and dodging. Darkened his beard, created a chin area by cloning, some wrinkle and blemish removal with Healing brush, Brushed a little gold high lights into his hair and beard, some skin smoothing and blurring, and lastly opened his eyes with the Liquify Tool and created new eyeballs Ended with a quick crop

PLEASE tell how you created new eyeballs!

Why are mine always the weird ones?!
![]() ![]() Duplicated layer, cloned hair and beard to extend, used gaussian blur to duplicated layer, masked out eyes, nose, beard and wrinkles to accentuate them, added a transparent layer, copied teeth from other picture, scaled and rotated teeth, used curves one teeth to get better color match, cropped, flattened.

I'll try to remember
...it was a multi-step process until I got it to look half decent. I first opened up the eye areas to accommodate an eye. I started with the elliptical marquee tool, made a circle roughly the size of an eyeball in where the eye should be and filled in with the color black. I then added a little blue color and then brushed in a little green color over the black. I adjusted the opacity down until it looked OK. I then created a smaller black dot to create the pupil. I finished by using the dodging tool to lighten it a little further and added a small catch light. Once I was happy with "the eyeball," I cloned it into the other side...so you only have to make one, lol

My first attempt at one of these.
I added a layer with a new background and then added a layer mask to show the new background. Used the face control plugin on the original layer to give him more of a squint eyed look Added a text layer with the famous Clint Eastwood quote since it seemed to match his new expression

I had no idea where I was going with this, but tried to be creative and use things I never have before in PS. I'll try to indicate what I've done to the best of my ability, but there was a LOT of trial and error going on here...
![]() ![]() Cropped to remove distracting elements from top/left. Duplicated layer twice (why not?!) Original Layer > adjusted white balance slightly using levels adjustment layer (don't ask me why, since I basically made him pink later...) On 1st duplicated layer > smart sharpen extensively to taste > set opacity to 49% Created Threshold adjustment layer set to 119 > set opacity to 40% Selected eyes from sharpened layer > created new layer from copy > dodged the crap out of them > set opacity to 63% and blending mode to Screen Set foreground color to white, background color to red (because I read something on the DPS newsletter about doing that to mess w/ half tone filters...) On 2nd duplicated layer > filter > Bas Relief (whatever that is) > set blending mode to Saturation (because it looked the coolest of all the blending modes...) Saved for web and VOILA! Note: These things did not necessarily occur in this order. I think I ended up with an "artsy" rendition of the original. Hope you like it. Enjoyed working on it. His face has lots of character.

OOOHHHH, you guys are good! Addicting isnt it.
Had to have one more go at this one. Cropped, applied the psycedleic effect in Topaz Adjust and then ran Topaz Clean with the cartoon effect and last added a vignette

I love it, Windrider. I think I need to invest in some Topaz Adjust...I just love the results people get with it.
