For this weeks challenge, we are gonna do something a little different.
It's quite the challenge, are you up for it? I bet so! For this weeks challenge, we have 2 images from our very own Chip & Private. Edit the images anyway that you see fit. Edit one or the other anyway you see fit. Or, if you are up for the challenge, combine the two! Now, let's see what you would do! If you would like your image to be posted please send me a medium sized photo (html code would be a plus) and a link to a larger version Thank you both for sending me your images! ![]() Link to large. ![]() http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3393/...cc1e6ee8_b.jpg __________________

ok, I'll get ya started. This wasnt what I had in mind when I started but the more I worked on it, the more it seemed like an ad
First things first. Layered the dog image on top of the tracks and then hid it by clicking on the eye in the layers palette. Now, duplicated the tracks layer twice. The first layer I set the blend mode to screen. The next layer was set to multiply and gave it a gaussian blur set to about 20. merged visible layers. Cloned out the towers and wires and sharpened it up a hair. Next I went to the dog layer and made it visible. Erased areas I didnt want to show and lowered the opacity to a point that I liked. Added a border to the bottom. Added text. merged all layers

You can do one or the other, you dont have to combine them. Keep in mind your possibilities are endless. You are not limited to enhancing them. Make a kalidescope, give it bubbles, add a border, see what I mean? You can do anything!

Tricky one this week.
I have 2 edits of the 2nd image as I couldn't think of anything to do with the dog photo. I also didn't combine them both as it was hard to find a location for them given the angle and the fact the big dog was half cut off. Please offer me as much constructive criticism as you like and praise as well of course ![]() Anyhow, without further-ado: First Edit ![]() To make this I did the following: Removed the original sky and replaced with a stock sky Darkened the sky a bit Darkened the other things a bit Flattened the image Duplicated the layer and placed it on top Inverted the new layer Changed the new layer blending mode to colour And decreased the opacity to 40% Sorry its a bit rough but it's late and I rushed them, and I didn't have time to do my usual polishing. Edit 2 ![]() To make this I did the following: I darkened/increased the contrast a very small amount I added a new light source outside of the image directed down to the right Thanks for looking.
