Default What Would You Do? #98!

OK folks it's that time again .
The rules of the challenge are simple:
Edit the photo in this post, in anyway that you see fit. Change it, boost the colors, give it a border, change the background, just use your imagination. Then come back and tell us how you did it. Easy as that!
Now, let's see what you would do!

If you would like your image to be posted please send me a medium sized photo (html code would be a plus) and a link to a larger version

This weeks image is sent from the wonderful fstopMike!
Thanks for sending me your image!

Where is everyone??? Great compostion on this one Mike. I had a hard time with finding anything to change or improve upon. Hard to do with an image that's all ready good,
First thing I did was to mirror the image and straighten the horizon. Next thing I did was to create an adjustment layer , using channels. Red and green with the sliders almost all the way to the right and the blue channel all the way to the left, Played with them until I liked what I saw. merged layers.
Duplicate layers. Used a paint tube of the moon and then erased areas where it over lapped onto the hill below.. merge, duplicate. used the infrared filter to give it a bit of depth. duplicate again and added Niks color effect, midnight violet filter, played with settings till i got something i liked. Merged layers and duplicated again. Used Topaz Adjust photo pop filter and then one more time for a boost. added a slight vingette. added borders one at a time by using the add border command and at a size I liked (used the drop tool to duplicate the colors in the border to match the image) merge all layers

It's not often that I play around with photos and make them look unrealistic...so I kind of tried it here!!!!!!!

Forgot to say what I did: ..........Honestly....I'm not sure...didn't keep track of EVERYTHING, but a lot went into just curves...

I cropped this because i felt the background detracted from the flow that the grasses have going on. I added the black border to give it a 'scene from a movie' like feel.

I then copied the layer in photoshop a couple of times - once to overlay with a gaussian filter, and again with the film grain filter (carrying on with the film theme).

I like the wispy dreamy feel it has, and the richness of the green.

Hi Guys,

thought I'd spend my lunch time playing around in PS.

Got a picture looking out of the car Window and in another layer placed the Photo. In another layer mirrored the image and cropped it to the size of the door Morror.

Wow! Ya'll are incredibly creative!! The location of that shot is on the shore of the Great Salt Lake near Salt Lake City, Utah. It was taken with my old point and shoot and I loved how the grass was flowing with the wind.

I've now seen it shot from a car window, shot with just the grass emphasized, shot with vivid colors, subdued colors, and on an alternate planet!

You guys have some serious PP talent! I'm enjoying what you're doing with it and I'm taking names so I can starting sending my numerous botched photos for you guys to clean up! LOL!

So go for it, and let it rip!
