Gwen, do you work in the city? Your profile says you live in Brentwood...that's a hellatious commute, if you do.

No ... I go there more often at least 3 times a week ... I used to work in San Leandro in 2000 - 2002 until the KODAK closed down ... Now I work at Raley's Supermarket decorating cakes and sometimes doing the bake here in Brentwood

I'm in. Nervous about it - but in! I'm brand new to photography, and am not using a DSLR yet, but do plan on getting one in the next couple weeks. I've officially turned my camera to manual and have actually tried learning to use it before I take the leap to DSLR. First post will be forthcoming on flickr.

Welcome NOTIMETOTANGO to DPS! Don't be nervous we are here to learn. I've learned a lot since I've been here in July 2008. The more pictures you take the faster you will learn. So Good Luck and enjoy and keep the pictures coming.

A warm welcome to all the new members - hope this 365 challenge will help you improve your photography skills.

Just a few quick thoughts
1) Please take and post a pic a day in the group on flickr. If you are unable to post on a particular day (or series of days) you can catch up. But please dont post more than 1 pic for each day or post pics taken in the past (only 1 pic a day taken for the 365)

2) Introduce yourself in the "Hi ... How are ya doing" topic under discussions

3) If possible, try to keep the 365 in line with the themes - this is a challenge and will test your skills but is not obligatory. If you cant take a pic fitting the theme, any subject will do

4) Look out for theme changes (they are bit different to the DPS theme times). New theme is effective on Sunday and will run till Sat.

Happy 365ing !
