I think all this effort deserves an old dog treat ... and I didn't even start taking pictures ...

Just double-checking. The April 1-4 assignment is Wisdom as shown on Flickr? Are there guidelines for this assignment as DPS is still the Shallow Depth of Field? Thanks.

Hi Maggie - the Shallow Depth of Field assignment finished today at 08:00 GMT. The thread for the new assignment - Wisdom - will be posted later on today.

For the DPS Assignment (NOT the 365 flickr group for this thread) any shot taken between 25th of March and 8th April 2009 will be eligible for the competition.

For the 365 group I created, I have set the theme from today to Sat as the current theme Wisdom. The theme for next week (from Sunday 5th to next Saturday 11th), will be in the Wisdom assignment thread that will be posted later on today. I have set it up in this way so that we have a few days before the assignment finishes on the DPS thread - allowing us time to evaluate the shots of the week before we submit one final one for the DPS assignment. This was a suggestion made by Wulf (thanks Wulf)

I am new to DPS & to DSLR's- I start a local Intro to Digital Photography class 4/6 so I hope to be taking better pictures soon. All that to say- It sounds fun & I want in! Gloria
