This has an associated Flickr group for posting your 365 photos although you can post ones of particular interest back here, keeping the thread alive. The theme changes weekly, linked to the DPS assignment - if you want to pick your own theme, then one of the other 365 groups on Flickr would be a better choice for you.

Hello all,

To go to the 365 DPS Assignment flickr group page just click here - 365 DPS Assignment - and click on "Join the Group". Once you have joined you can send pictures from your photostream to the group. Please be kind enough to read through the group description and stick to the "guidelines" (eg: post 1 pic a day, no pics from archives, etc).

Also, take some time to go through the topics and maybe even introduce yourselves using the "Hi How ya doing ... I am" discussion topic.

Of course you can - anyone can join at any time as long as they go along with the 365 theme

Hope you will join our group and post your pics - hopefully we can encourage and motivate you enough to move from a Beta phase to a full out launch !

Only trouble is I am traveling at the moment. Don't you guys let this idea die and I'll join you in January 2010 !!
LOL - hopefully we should still be going strong by that time !

Thank you - I think I'll really benefit from this challenge. Love this website, lots of great tips and information on the site; the inspiration I get from seeing the pictures of other photo enthusiasts is just what I need to get out of my comfort zone and grow in my photography.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Not sure how close to the weekly assignment I'll be able to stay but the challenge of a photo sounds like just I need o motivate myself and learn something new.

I am a brand new member with a brand new dslr. I've been waiting for about 2 weeks to start this challenge and I'm really excited that I could put forward my first photo tonight. I've joined the flickr group for the challenge and my first photo was a self portait, I thought it would be a good way to introduce myself. Any advice you all can give during the assignment is appreciated

Hello all!

I just joined up today and am giving the 365 challenge a go. I've done a couple of days so far (I started it on July 1st), and wanted to have somewhere to share my pictures with others, in the hopes that it would give me an extra incentive to stick with it.

I bought my first DSLR earlier this year, and thought this would be a great way to learn it better. I hope I'm right! Looking forward to meeting everyone here and in the Flickr group. (Sorry about resurrecting an old thread, but I didn't say any sort of "introduce yourself" topic in the Flickr discussion area. I hope this is all right.)

Allison

OK if Allison can do it, I'll try too. I'm late to the party but will do my best not to be a party pooper.
