It's Saturday and time for a new "What Would You Do". This is from one of our Critique Moderators, Windrider86. How did you get that picture, Windrider
? ![]() Here's a link to the larger version: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3094/...2aa7af5b_b.jpg As usual, the game follows some very simple rules. Use the photo in this post. Edit it, then come back and show us what you did and tell us how you got there so that we can learn from your experience. It doesn't matter whether you use Picnik, Picasa, Photoshop, you can participate as long as you have something to edit the shot with. If you would like one of your pictures to be featured in one of these WWYD threads, simply drop Nicole a PM with a link to the medium and large version of the photo. Now, let's see what you would do! |

This was the ONLY thing I could see in my head!
![]() In GIMP: Opened pic, increased canvas size, masked out unwanted portions around snake, found and opened pic of Mowgli as a layer, masked out unwanted portions of Mowgli, created a new layer, used the Pepper brush to fill the layer, used gaussian blur of 50.0 to blur layer, messed with curves and levels of layer, moved that layer to the background, rotated Mowgli, created new layer and added text, created new layer and put an elliptical selection around the text, created a path to make the "pokey" part to the mouth, add the path to the selection, filled with white, stroked selection with black to create boarder around the bubble, flattened image.

FIRE SNAKE!!!
![]() Added a Vignette. Added a gradient map adjustment layer. The gradien was red on the dark side, yellow on the bright side. Changed blending mode to overlay and flattened. Added a new layer and painted the flames using the normal brush and that tool that distorts things (It's a little white hand with a finger sticking down... sorry, my Photoshop is in Portuguese, so I have probelms translating the names of the tools... )
