Hi
All of you are so creative!!!
I decided to use only a portion on the globe abd go for an abstract look.
I used Lightroom 2 to crop, rotate and adjust curves..
Then used Topaz Adjust to boost saturation, detail and color....

We went to Disney World around this time last year, so it's been on my brain, I guess.

What I did:
Opened in GIMP
Inverted colors and colorized to a pink (in honor of my 4 yo daughter!)
Increased canvas size
Duplicated layer twice and scaled each new layer by 50%
Moved scaled layers to appropriate places and added a layer mask to each
Masked out lower portion of the circles on "ears" and applied the mask
Created a new layer with black color and moved to lowest layer position
Tried my darnedest to add color or more stars to the black layer and discovered that I liked the plain black better...decided I was done!

Thanks! And you really should give it a try. It's amazing what will fall out of your head when you just play with it. It's just for fun, which I LOVE!

LOL I made mine before seeing how creative everyone else got..

I added a red circle and text "You Are Here". Did a blur (because every map I've ever seen with those things were tiny & blurry). Saved it. =P
