Default What Would You Do (#79)

These posts will probably be moving to the weekends on a regular basis. It's just easier to keep them going that way. Speaking of keeping them going, if you'd like your picture to be used in one of these threads, just drop me a PM with a link to the medium and large version of the photo. It's as simple as that, and we'd love to have some more pictures to add to the (very short) queue!

This week's picture is one from ZebsterBC who thought this picture just had too much going on and no clear subject:

The rules of the game are simple as can be. Use the photo in this post. Edit it, change it, do what you'd like. Then come back to the thread, post your result, and tell us how you got there. Whether you use Picnik, CS4, Picasa, or the Gimp, you're welcome to participate. So as long as you can edit, come on and join us!

Now, let's see what you would do!

Hee hee. Thought this one was fun. Boosted the saturation and sharpness. Pasted the dog in as a new layer and then erased the areas around him to blend in (never mind that he has no legs) then added a pre made shape and text. Cropped and wala!
what would you do for dps

I Used adjustment layers to get the B&W and sepia effects and to bump the exposure and brightness a little. There are two layers with a lens blur added and layer masks to distribute them.

Oh no, radioactive geese!!!

I used PS 7. Selected the white ducks, copied them on a separete layer, painted over them with bright colors (overlay painting mode), blurred them a little and changed the layer blend to overlay.

DPS Assignment 2 copy

I cropped the picture, adjusted the color curves a bit and added a high pass filter.
