Talking RE: What Would You Do (#77)

This is my first attempt at trying to edit photos, especially at DPS.

Here is what I've done:
1. Cropped pic to get tree to left and omit the ground a little.
2. Darkened the Exposure -2, and boosted saturation.
3. Changed WB to shade and reduced the highlights.
4. Applied little sharpening too.

Mirror Tree

Used a zoom effect.
Increased the saturation
Added a Mirror frame effect

Default What Would You Do (#77)

I would enhance the contrast in the picture using a preset I have developed for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.1 and reduce the noise in the dark areas:

Here's my attempt: Duplicated Layer. Changed blending mode to create a contrast. Added a pattern layer and cut out a smaller square to create a frame, then adjusted some levels, curves and this is what I came up with:

Hopefully, this isn't breaking the rules. but, I ran this through PE4 and thought it looked worthy (IMO):

Increased saturation and leveled a little in LR and added fom light rays in PS.
