Ok, so, it was getting so late last week that I decided to wait a few extra days and just post the WWYD on Tuesday when it's supposed to be posted
![]() So, this week's WWYD is from keys_to_imagination ![]() As always, the rules are simple. Edit the photo, show us what you would do, then explain how you did it. Easy as that! If you'd like your photo to be the subject of one of these WWYD threads, simply drop me a PM with a link to the medium and large version of the photo. Now, let's see what you would do!

![]() First thing I did was to duplicate the image and use the high pass sharpen set at 250 on the first image. Then I went to the second image and applied ambiance setting from virtual photographer plug in and erased the eyes so the over sharpened eyes would show thru. Merged images. Duplicated again and added a layer for the background. Erased areas around the girl to show thru using zero hardeness. Merged all layers. Duplicated again and added a vigentte by using Nic color effect plug in. I did try and make the eyes the same color but just couldnt get it to to work

Here's mine:
![]() For the "realistic" version: -isolated girl (so cute, btw) inserted sky w/bubbles background in Photoshop CS2 -adjusted exposure in the "image-adjust" settings (lowering the gamma slider made a nice difference) -tiny adjustment of shadows/highlights -upped contrast by 5 -lowered saturation of girl layer a little bit -sharpened using "Smart Sharpen" -did a tiny curves adjustment That's it. For the "fun" version, I was trying out this tutorial (didn't do all of the steps at the end though): Make Your Images Look Awesome with a Few Light Effects

keys_to_imagination,
Thanks for a delightful start. It just takes a little tweak when the original is full of potential.

lol i took this picture and for some reason i was blocked on how to fix it i thought it was way over exposed and bit blurry but i sent it in for project because the smile was one of a kind to me but i see how isolating her face and bringing that out and keeping background light can make a stunning portriat so ty all

You're most welcome, and thanks for allowing us to exercise our programs, since we get blocked too, when working on our own stuff! It really helps to work on someone else's shot. Glad you've enjoyed the changes so far.

I hope you dont mind, but I had to have another go at this one. For this version I appied a watercolor painting filter to it using Corel Painter. (first I cropped it) Then I pasted that image as a new layer over the orginal image. Erased the eyes so the orginal eyes would show thru and lightly erased a few other areas and lowered the opacity to a level where i thought it looked nice
