With a levels adjustment and hue & sat, I came up with this:

What would you do #69

What I was going for is to make the silhouette look like he was on fire.

A little more exposure. The largest changes were to add huge amounts of saturation and vibrancy. Small changes to color balance to bring out reds. Remove a few stray embers with the repair tool. It looked like there was something hanging in front of his nose so I removed that with the repair tool. Then crop to center focus on the silhouette.

I the eye wants to move left to right so: I flipped it and gave it a wind distortion effect / threshold=3 strength=2 'GIMP'- If I could,ve softened the effect-to make it less obvious- that would've be better, I think.

Wow! Such amazing edits.
So glad that a piece of my art has provided to be inspirational for others.
All great, and given me a few ideas to try myself.
windrider86, what can I say, masterpiece, you've managed to bring out much of the feeling of the day. Interestly, there were quite a few Tipis in the next field from this.
I found jiminyClickit's very interesting as well, it's almost shamanic as you stare into it, and being a geek π is a very special constant ;-)
But as I say, all of them great and an inspiration.

Thanks :-)
