Default What Would You Do (#67)

Ok, it's late again this week. Let's just say that WWYD gets posted every week at some point (suffice it to say, it's been a very busy week).

This week's photo is from dennism

Photobucket

Available Larger

The rules are simple, use this photo, edit it, come back, and post it along with the steps that you took to get it from point A to point B. If you'd like your photo to be the feature of one of these WWYD, just drop me a PM with a link to the medium and large size of the photo. Easy as that!

Now, let's see what you would do!

First of all, this is such a cute kid!
First thing I thought of was electric hair so I applied fractalious filter to makes his hair look electric on a duplicate layer and then erased everyting around his face.Sharpened. I then followed this tutorial for the orb http://www.nansons-place.com/nontut/glassorbs.htm and used a mask to paint off the parts I didnt want to show. added the black design and duplicated it 4 times as a new layer and then moved to areas I wanted. lowered opacity and erased a few lines. merged

Default Don't hate me because I'm beautiful

Fewest steps I've ever needed.

- Added a second copy/layer, selected/deleted child
- Blurred 60%, and lightened (making b/g and edges of child less harsh)
- Added dark gradient layer

This kid is JUST tooo cute.

cute baby

I did not do much, I added a Sepia filter and the old photo filter at 25% opacity in the soft light mode and then brightened it up.

This baby is so cute I wanted to see him next to something else almost as cute...kittens! I stuck in a gradient background that looks kind of cheesy I know. And I couldn't get the hair 'isolated' just right unless I spent a loooong time on it, but there's my take on it.

Default Peekaboo!

The hairstyle made me think of something funny. The original was mirrored upside down, selected the face and body, replaced background, Gaussian 5x5 blur on background, brightness alignment on face, crop. Software: Gimp.

I was torn between fixing the flare on the teeth or having fun with with it so I did both.

Fixer
