Default Still Life Challenge #2

Still Life Challenge #2
"Candle Light"

The focus of the second challenge, is to use only a candle as your lighting source. One of my old favorite photos, was a picture frame that was lit by a candle.

Use the lit candle day or night, in whatever setup you want. Make it the focus, or use it as a prop. But remember, this is the Still Life Challenge! No people holding candles, or dogs balancing one on their nose. Compose a scene, change where the candle sits, and how it lights your shot, get creative!

If you want, use a bit of post processing to bring out the best in your photo!

Black and white.. color, you name it, just be creative! I know this type of shot is not something you do every day but consider it practice for the next DPS Assignment "Product Photography"!!

(If you are not old enough, worry about burning your house, your camera, or anything else for that matter, use a fake "candle" such as a dim flashlight, nightlight, or something similar!)

Thanks! I'm just learning the ins and outs of my new 40D and this one was from one of my first practice sessions.
