thought I'd put my 10c in, I think this challenge is a good idea, but the topic is difficult for me as opener is very boring, and I'm not yet very good at 'posing' things. I'll keep my eyes out for #2 though!

I have no creativity when it comes to still life but I figured I would give it a try. It's nothing fancy, but here's my bottle opener...

Great shots everyone!

I know it was a somewhat rough start, and I have some ideas for the next one to hopefully make it more interesting!

I figured it could be something fun we can do on the days we don't have time to go out, get home too late, and just another way to play with our camera, while being able to focus on composition, lighting and a creative setup that is only limited to your imagination!

I love Stoli, so that is a given bonus there...
I love the "Bokeh" on TTHW's shot (which is similar to my initials strangely) and the colors
dlaf's I like the texture and the uniqueness of the bottle opener! And I believe that is a metal wash bin? Very hard for any bottle opener to pry open

These are great, my hubby has the camera today, so I can't Play! But are you going to this going??? It sounds like a fun way to keep learning.

Hi zespri!

If you find the next topic uninspiring as well, try looking at it as an opportunity to experiment in pp. I just happened to have an unusual opener, but I tried some different effects that I normally wouldn't do. The everyday objects will be like a blank canvas on which we can create. Since I don't have a lot of time to devote to it, I'm going to try to just do something easy and fun. Just a thought!

Thank you to everyone who has played so far, but don't fret if you haven't posted here yet, it is not going anywhere.

If a bottle opener really pops your top, keep on shooting until your heart is content!

If you like playing with fire... Maybe this one is for you...
