Full blown temper tantrums require nothing less than a strong stilton cheese. Slowly allowed to melt in the mouth to exude the full flavor at which time the tantrum tends to recede a little and you are once again left with the whine ....

I love macs, use one myself from time to time only I tend to run windows on it as well (dual boot to go with my poisonality). That aside, there is a version of photoshop that runs on a mac. I am certain the action would work just as well on that version. Pray tell, what PP software do you use? Perhaps we can reconstitute the steps to work! eeewww reconstituted steps, sounds like whine without cheese!

I am still new to DPS and discovered this great thread on the blog frontpage. If it is not too late here is one another. Processing was done with GIMP:
  • Rotation to make it diagonal
  • Multiply the layer with its copy
  • Play with the mask

Larger version (600x600)

This gave me so many ideas. Converted to greyscale on a duplicate layer. used the background eraser tool to ereas areas of the flower I wanted to remain in color. Moved the flowers around and cropped down. Used AAA Foto Frame plug in for the frame and L-Amico Perry light PLug in for the lighting. Done

Here's my attempt. My masking of the flowers outside the "frame" left a bit of a glow around them, so I figured I'd play off that by putting them under a bright sun.

THese are AMAZING! I will have to try and duplicate some of them. Wow - a hum drum picture can actually give you the "wow factor" if the proper PP is applied. Again, LOVE what everyone has done!

(I'm deconstructing this, to retrace my steps)
backlighting, crop, color adjust HSL. (Also, I'm a stone-carver, not a photographer, so don't hurt yourselves rolling around on the ground laughing hysterically!)
