Some really great takes on this photo here! This is my first time playing, and I loved it! Here's my (pretty safe) rendition:

Let's see - added a levels adjustment layer, Merged with photo layer, duplicated the layer, sharpened the bottom one, blurred the top one, and did a screen blending mode on the blurred layer at app %60, cropped.

Yes - it's a place to experiment and learn. Some people are very talented and experienced. I think experience counts for more and that is earned by doing.

Wulf

ps. Windrider... thanks for the hair... just like the old days

I went with a simple b&w conversion with this one...cool image to work with Wulf!

What you would do #61 (edit)

What I did (in PSP Photo XI):
-Cropped
-Time Machine: Platinum
-High Pass Sharpen (radius 74, strength 100)
-Unsharp Mask (radius 75, strength 20)
-Histogram midtones adjustment (-30)
-Shadows reduction (19)
-Curves adjustment (for brightness)

Nice one and welcome.....
If you dont mind maybe give everyone an idea what you did....I personally never thought of adding a texture overlay but this is really nice work.

I might retry this one myself now...lol!

This is not only a fun one but trust me, it's a great learning tool. Try new things out and see what they do. Not that I am any great expert or anything but from particpiating in this one particular thread has taught me a lot of really neat stuff!
Try it, you'll like it
