Default Playing with Levels & Curves Challenge

Having been inspired a while back by a post where the person played with the levels & curves of a photo to get what I thought was a very cool result. I decided to see if anyone else is interested in giving it a try. Try, if you can, to include a screen shot of your curve. You can come up with something unsaturated & mellow, or something wild & crazy. Be daring!! Give it a shot & post it here. It's really easy! Just click on the line & pull or push it.

Here's one I just did, that turned out kind of cool, from my weekend in Wausau photographing Kayakers.

Here's the Levels & Curves for it.

P.S. I can't seem to find that old thread that inspired me. If anyone can find it & link to it I would appreciate it.

Have fun & see what you can come up with.

I have a set of photos on Flickr which are all tweaked this way. They are from my garden, but I turn them into a more artistic version. This is one example:

I'm not sure how to save the screenshot off of Picnic to show you what I did.

No problem. That is really cool. I didn't think I was going to get any responses. So thanks for that also.

I adjusted both levels and curves. The original photo is a pink rose on black taken in a light tent.

I just love how you can achieve those florescent colors. Nice work Lori.

I went for a subtle effect. Tried to turn the original grayish background to green, but still make the bee's colors look somewhat authentic.

a restored Impala...weird to think that the old neighbors (in their 70s) used to drive one when I was a kid
