Default 1 Year of What Would You Do (Or WWYD #52)

So, this is the one year-ish anniversary of our What Would You Do game. It was suggested by xxpinballxx back in the early days of the forum, and since then it's kept growing thanks to people offering up photos for the rest of us to edit. The goal is to edit a picture that someone has submitted to show us how you could edit it and see the many ways a single picture can be viewed. We've had so many different kinds of photos and different edits, so what do we do for the one year anniversary?

How about picking your favourite photo from one of the previous WWYDs and showing us your edit (or doing a new edit if you think you can do it better given all you've learned in the past year).

For this version:
Ran thru tone mapping. Selected all areas above the water line. Copy, paste as new layer. flip. place in position.Lower opacity. Give slight rippl effect. Create new mask layer from image. Paint over areas that overlapped.flatten. Dupicate. Flood fill with brown texture. Creat mask. Paint over all areas but the mountains to give them a brown tone. flatten.noise removal. Cloned clouds to overlap a peak. Seletive burn with midtones on the mountains.

This was i think #5. I had did a version back then and thought I might be able to do a little better now

I couldnt help but to see what this would like in black and white so I converted it to black and white using Nik Color effects and then boosted the contrast a tad

Wow, nice to see a new edit or two also Great job Windrider.

And because I've had such a great response from people I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has sent me PM's for photos to use Always happy to get more, but I just wanted to say thank you for making sure WWYD goes into year 2.

What would you do challenge

Now to remember what I've done, lol.

1- a levels adjustment to fix the flower up.
2- overlayed a texture (the one with the brown leaves) and adjusted opacity.
3- erased texture from parts using mask layer.
4- overlayed the cross-hatch type texture and adjusted opacity.
5- found a pic of a butterfly and cut it out, duplicated it and mirrored one, overlayed them with luminance blend mode.
6- did some burning around the edges.
7- added the sunburst.

I think that's it...hard to remember now. It was fun though!
