Default What Would You Do (#50)

Wow! It's the big 50 Well, it's a good number, even though 2 weeks more means we'll have been doing this for a year.

This week's photo is from filemanager

And I think if you click on the photo it should take you to Picasa where it's available larger.

The standard rules apply, edit the photo, come back, and show and tell us what you did.

If you want your picture to be the subject of one of these WWYD threads, just drop me a PM and I use the pictures in the order I get them. If you have sent me a PM with a link and it's been a while and I haven't used your photo, it's probably not intentional and I somehow misplaced it off my list. So if that happens just drop me a note.

Now, let's see what you would do!

Wow 50!!

Here's mine...just a quick edit to make it look like an old photo. What I did (in PSP XI):

-Crop
-Convert to sepia tones
-Added two texture layers (rust and garage floor), both blended hard light, 70%.
-Merged all layers
-Desaturated 50%
-Unsharp mask (radius 75, strength 30)
-Added border

What you would do #50 (edit)

This is my version... more warm....

- Copy to another layer
- Adjust shadows and highlights
- Select the white things with color range select
- Create a layer with a mask of previous selection
- Create a texture with green, add noise and some motion blur
- Change the blend mode to color, now you have the ground, adjust your mask
- Create a layer and fill with a gradient from white to lightblue, change the blend to darken and add a mask
- Create a layer fill with black and add a lens effect, change the blend to screen
- Ready

What would you do 50

I got interrupted just as I finished this and had to leave my desk for a while. Now I can't remember exactly what I did. I know that I used some gradients and added the moon. I will try to duplicate it later and post the steps. I was going for a moonlit snowy eve.
