Well I did two edits; one was funny because I was instantly inspired to make one, the second is serious as no one else has done any.

The fun one: I found some screecaps on Google images of the characters of Monty Python's The Holy Grail, and then (In PhotoShop CS5) used the magnetic lasso and the lasso to select and drag them into the main picture. For God I used Image > Transform > Skew/perspective/etc to get him to look like he was looking more towards the subject. I used the "auto" features to make him fit in more color wise, and changed his exposure and brightness a bit manually. I then added King Arthur and used the same techniques to get him to blend in. For the French guy, I used the same techniques, but also used a mask and used the paint brush to delete parts in order to make him look as if he was behind the corn.

The serious one: In Lightroom, I changed the white balance, exposure, saturation, contrast, and some color values. Then I added a light vignette to bring more attention to the subject.

What I did ...
Duplicate layer
Create curves layer
Select sky
Create new levels layer
select then invert male
Create new levels layer
Hide base layer then flatten all others
Create layer mask then show base layer
Paint on layer @10% opacity mask to bring back some detail ... and thats about all!

(Wanted to crop but got too many jpeg artifacts so left composition alone)
