Default Classic Rock Challenge XXI

How of you out there remember the 1960's Bands such as:
1910 Fruitgum Company
The Ohio Express
The Archies
The Lemon Pipers
Andy Kim
Edison Lighthouse
The Monkees
The Osmonds
The Partridge Family

Oh, I could go on & on, but I won't torture you with more. This week we are going to have a little fun with Bubblegum music from the 60's. I know, you're probably thinking, "What the heck, has he gone mad! This ain't real music! It certainly isn't Rock & Roll!" A couple weeks ago I told you that I thought that "Foreigner" was bubblegum. Well, it got me to thinking, & remembering what true bubblegum music was. When I was a kid(most of you can't even think back that far). These songs were played on the radio all the time. All day long! These were the songs that once they got in your head, you couldn't get them out. They kind of grow on you(Like a fungus, sort of). If you can remember these songs, it's official, you're as old as dirt!

So here it is, "25 All-Time Greatest Bubblegum Hits"

Week 21

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy.
Sarah's cake '03
And I refuse to admit anything...
(knock three times on the ceiling if you want me, twice on the floor if the answer is.....I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried...) It's called re-makes, yeah that's it, remakes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
