Here's mine...

Edit of the week

Edited in fotoflexer.
Cropped in a little.
Blurred edges.
Made everything but the sky, middle post and the gas pumps B&W.

Looking at this scene, I was thinking vintage, old, and faded, like a picture you'd find in a drawer of a dresser you bought at a yard sale. I started with a Lightroom sepia preset, then worked things from there.

The exposure/recovery/contrast combo was there to add a bit of punch. The grain and vignette I think give more of an old film look. The clarity drop plus the vignette adds to the faded edge effect I wanted.

The temptation was high to stay color. Once I went BW I was there to stay.

Desaturated in PS and used Lucis to make the texture pop

This was fun thanks for posting this!

I tone mapped it with HDR Efex Pro then brought it into Lightroom to give it a tilt-shift effect using the Gradation Filter tool.

I play this image to have a kinda lomo effect

GAS STATION

To have the final image;

LR lens distortion
Underexpose
Add vignette

in CS5;
Adjust red tone
Adjust green tone
Liquify some part
Add Gaussian blur
Dodge some areas
Add border.

Here's my entry:

DPS Edit of the Week - Aug 3, 2011

In PS7:
1. Curves adjustment layer - S curve on red and green, inverted S on blue
2. Black fill layer set to Hue blend mode
3. Duplicate background and add gaussian blur, about 2 pixels, add monochrome gaussian noise, about 5%
4. Added stained paper overlay set to soft light
5. Added vignette layer
6. Added border
