Default Edit of the Week - 7-27-11 - How would you edit this one?

Edit this photo in any way that you normally would and post it back here. This whole exercise is to see how others would edit the same photo.

Settings were:


plus a "medium contrast" tone curve and some noise reduction/sharpening.

Another Edit of the week , here's my attempt

KNIGHT

Using CS5 I did the following:

Change the background
Blurred the background (DOF)
Adjust the contrast....final image.

Default One More Knight....

My entry for this week's EOTW. Did the following in Photoshop 7:
1. Added rusty metal texture set to Soft Light, then layer mask to uncover the knight.
2. Color balance to boost red, magenta, and yellow.
3. Levels adjustment to increase contrast.
4. Added a grungy border.
5. Flattened, duplicated layer and used high-pass filter with 12 pixel radius set to Hard Light to sharpen.

Default Edit of the Week

Here's my try at it. I appreciate any comments.



How I did it:

Turned up the exposure and contrast
Turned up the sharpness
Turned up the saturation and temperature
Made the background Black and White
Then blurred the background
Then I put on the frame

And I was done!
