Default Classic Rock Challenge XX

This week in the Classic Rock Challenge I'm going off the beaten path of rock & roll to bring you one of my all time favorite albums. Reggae music has been interwoven into R&R by many artists. Some of the more popular are The Police & The Rolling Stones. You can't talk about Reggae without bringing up Jimmy Cliff(Click for a brief Bio). I had the opportunity to see Jimmy live back in 1985. It wasn't one of your standard concerts with a flashy light show & blaring guitars, but it was one of my top 5 concerts & I've seen a lot of concerts! He can sing like an angel & in a small venue, like the Madison civic center was at the time, it was truely amazing. Even if your not a big fan of Reggae, you can still appreciate the ballads of Jimmy Cliff. Once you hear songs such as "Many Rivers to Cross", "You Can Get it if You Really Want", & "Sitting Limbo"(My personal favorite), you can't help but become a fan. These are those songs that stick in your head for the rest of the day after hearing them.

So, here it is. Jimmy Cliff's "Ultimate Collection"

Yup! Sure is! Nice reflection. To bad that puddle wasn't a little bigger for larger reflection.

Default Sitting in Limbo

Saw this exhibit of a mummified baby mastodon in a museum last week. Poor thing looks like it is stuck in limbo now.
