Nikkor AF 50mm 1.4
...I love this lens, every shot comes out great. Case in point?...I simply stopped typing, picked up my camera sitting next to me on the desk, asked one of my kids to look at me, pushed the button.

Snowy

Canon 50mm f/1.4.

This guy just happened to be in the arrivals lounge of the airport when I was waiting to pick up family. Asked his carer if I could take a shot of him - I think it turned out ok...

I could post endless 50mm shots - the lens pretty much lives on my camera as I love it so much.

Very nice shots, all. My 50mm has really been the go-to lens recently. It's hard to beat!

Here's what I've been working on with my 50mm f/1.8 lately:

Default 50mm Prime

Here's my entry. My sister's cat who ran away when they moved house. It took months to find her again.

Here is mine - my 50mm lens with ISO 200, f/4 and 2.5s shutter speed (a dim room on a murky morning). After setting up the shot, the main challenge was moving at the right speed to get a good blurring effect on myself.

Can't Sit Still
