No images to share but so many folks have been pushing me to invest in a 50mm. In doing my research, the price range is huge between the 1.8 and the 1.2. I think I'm going to start with the 1.8 as many pics have been posted and they look great, save $$ over the next couple years and maybe get the really good one, if I really need it then.

I've had my 50mm f1.8 for less than two weeks but I've fallen completely in love with it!

Had my Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Mk II lens for a little while now. Definitely my go-to lens. Love it.

So I posted once before asking which 50mm to buy - that was over a year ago now.....
In the meantime I've gotten myself a 50mm f/1.8 and taken tons of pictures with it.. I'll share a couple of them with you..

This first one was taken the day after I got the lens, when I was playing around with it..

Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/1.8
Focal Length: 50 mm

This second one was taken on a flight from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Chicago O'hare

Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 0.1 sec (1/10)
Aperture: f/1.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 2500

and the last one was taken on my way home from school one day

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear

Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 1/3200 sec
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 1600

So yeah, I hope you'll like them.. and thank you for taking your time to look at my pictures
