Default Valentines Heart

Been meaning to photograph this candy since V-day but hadn't gotten around to it but my nephews are coming tonight and I know they will help me eat it so now was the time to photograph it! I love my 50mm lens.

Was there a change of white balance between the two shots? I've just finished taking a series of some bread I baked last night (all 50mm, unedited) and setting WB and using a reflector to add more light on the nearside where the two most important ingredients for my photosession:

Bread - 9

I got my new Canon 40D in the mail last night and my only lens at the moment is the 50mm f/1.8 II. So far I LOVE it!!! I took it out on a walk today and got this shot that I submitted for this week's assignment (spring).

Hi Wulf,
You are correct, I did change the white balance between the two photos - just used preset and shoot a piece of white paper for the second shoot...it just seemed so much better color.
