Default Classic Rock Challenge XIV

Ok, Leafyfingers said she was sad that the Classic Rock Challenge had gone away. I'm hoping that resurrecting it with a guest DJ spot will encourage someone else to become a guest DJ since... well... most of the music in my collection isn't classic rock in the least So this week, you're stuck with a CD that I like, even if it isn't a classic. And it was one with better titles to interpret than some of my CDs lol. So, this week/month/whatever is....

Counting Crows: Recovering the Satellites

From Wikipedia's entry on the CD:
Quote:
Recovering The Satellites is the second album by Counting Crows. The album has a slightly harder rock sound than their debut August and Everything After (1993). It was recorded after frontman Adam Duritz suffered a long period of depression due to his inability to deal with the pressures of sudden skyrocketing fame and fortune, so several of the album's songs tend to deal with these issues.
Personally, I've seen Counting Crows in concert a few times and always enjoyed the show. They were one of those bands where I'd heard the songs on the radio before and I liked them, but never knew who they were. Then I saw them at a concert with another band I liked, and it was one of those "ooooh" moments. (My stories aren't nearly as exciting as Dave's lol).

Nicole: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! Being a Cyber-Discjockey isn't as easy as it appears, is it?

This has been a looooong winter, here in Wisconsin, with record breaking snowfalls.

See, even if it isn't classic rock, I knew some of these song titles would be just perfect for the long winter that's being endured by some
